BELLA COOLA COUNTRY – by Leslie Kopas, published in 2003. Leslie Kopas tells the story of Bella Coola from his perspective growing up in the Central Coast community. Leslie inherited his father, Cliff Kopas’ collection of photographs taken in the valley between 1934 and 1955. This book is a tribute to the photographic work of Cliff Kopas while giving an excellent portrayal of life in the Bella Coola Valley in the mid-1900s.
