Multimedia
communications team Barbara Grossman and
Sage Birchwater, based in BC's
Cariboo Chilcotin, focus on local history, culture and current events,
in their fresh and original videos, books and photographs.
Their common
interest in First Nations people and the early years of settlement
by Europeans through the twentieth century, have inspired their
endeavor to tell the peoples stories in their own words.
Barb's most recent production, the 60 min. The Rudy Johnson
Bridge, premiered October 1, 2004, to an enthusiastic audience at the BC Federation of Woodlot Associations Conference in Williams Lake, hosted by David Zirnheldt, and she will release THE
HILL Vol 2, in the Spring, 2005.
Available in Video or DVD, also European format (PAL).
Sage’s new
book, Williams Lake – Gateway to the Cariboo Chilcotin, a 64
page pictorial production with noted photographer Stan Navratil, was
released in June 2004. See below for this, and other books
from Birchwater Consulting.
